101 Anniversary of the first electrical traffic Signal System

Google celebrates the first time an electric signal was installed with a vintage doodle.
The black and white doodle shows the traffic signal is placed in the centre.
And  the carriages following the traffic rules, while carrying the Google alphabets.
Google Doodle offers a glimpse of what American traffic would’ve looked like 101 years ago, when the world’s first electric traffic light was installed.
The device, used worldwide today, was installed in Cleveland, Ohio, on Aug. 5, 1914, at the corner of 105th and Euclid.
This installation  has helped in  providing  safety, direction and  regulation of traffic.
